California, Berkley in the fall of 2011. the class was
organized and funded by the Chez Panisse Foundation.

Alice Waters, Oakland’s People’s Grocery Executive Director
Nikki Henderson, and Michael Pollan.
Michael Pollan has
brought sustainable agriculture to the mainstream though his books
and lectures. This video is from the Authors@Google series,
and is filled with great commentary on the state of our current food
distribution system and alternatives that we have available to us.
This
University of California seminar entitled "Fast Food World: Perils
and Promises of The Global Food Chain", brought together some of the
leading activists in the sustainable agriculture movement to discuss
food policy issues. The all-star panel consisted of:
